About us
The story behind Ivy Technology
We are Kimberley Taylor and Rozanne Stubbs, the founders of Ivy Technology. Our journey didn't begin in software. It began in people's homes, supporting individuals and families through some of the most important moments of their lives.
As the founders of a domiciliary care company, we've spent years working alongside older people, individuals living with disabilities, hospitals, social workers, local authorities and families. We've experienced first-hand both the incredible dedication of care professionals and the daily challenges created by fragmented systems, endless paperwork, delayed communication and the difficulty families face when trying to find the right support.
Every day we saw the same question being asked: “Why isn't there one place that brings everything together?”
That question became the foundation of Ivy Technology.
Our mission
To build technology that transforms the way health and social care connect. We want to reduce delays, improve communication, increase transparency and make high-quality care easier to access for everyone.
Built from real experience
Unlike many technology companies, Ivy Technology hasn't been created inside a boardroom. It has been built from real conversations with families, care professionals, social workers, commissioners, hospitals and providers who understand the pressures of the health and social care system.
We've lived those pressures ourselves. We've seen providers struggle to fill capacity while families desperately search for available care. We've seen hospital discharge teams spend valuable time making phone calls to multiple agencies. We've watched social workers battle outdated systems while trying to make the best decisions for the people they support.
Most importantly, we've seen vulnerable people wait longer than they should for the care they need. We knew there had to be a better way.
Why we created Ivy Technology
Our vision is simple: to make finding, arranging and managing care as easy as booking a hotel or ordering a taxi. The care sector deserves modern technology that actually understands how care works. We believe technology should remove barriers — not create them.
That's why we're building solutions that connect everyone involved in care:
- Families searching for trusted support
- Care providers showcasing real availability
- Hospitals arranging safe and timely discharges
- Local authorities and social workers finding suitable services
- Healthcare professionals working together effectively
- Community organisations supporting independent living
By bringing these groups together on one intelligent platform, we believe we can reduce delays, improve communication and ultimately deliver better outcomes for the people who matter most.
Why "Ivy"?
The name Ivy represents everything we want this company to stand for. Like the ivy plant, great care is built on strong foundations, lasting relationships and continuous support. It grows by connecting. It protects. It adapts. It brings people together. Those same values guide every decision we make.
Meet the founders
Kim Taylor
Kim is the visionary behind Ivy Technology, driven by a passion for improving social care through innovation. Working directly within the care sector has provided her with a unique understanding of the challenges faced by providers, professionals and families.
Rather than accepting that "this is just how things are," Kim believes technology can remove unnecessary barriers, simplify complex processes and give people faster access to the support they need. Her focus is on creating bold ideas that solve real-world problems while keeping compassion at the heart of every innovation.
Rosie Stubbs
Rosie brings operational expertise, strategic thinking and an unwavering commitment to quality. With extensive experience managing care services, she understands the importance of safe, compliant and person-centred care.
Her practical knowledge ensures that every product developed by Ivy Technology is grounded in the realities of frontline care, rather than assumptions. Rosie believes that technology should support professionals — not replace them — and should always enhance the human relationships at the heart of care.

Looking ahead
Ivy Technology is more than a software company. It is a movement to modernise health and social care through practical, intelligent and compassionate innovation. We're building technology with the people who use it every day — not simply for them.
Our ambition is to become the trusted platform that connects the entire care ecosystem, making it easier for professionals to work together and ensuring that every individual receives the right support, at the right time, from the right provider.
This is only the beginning. Together, we're building the future of care.
