Terms of service

The ground rules for using our website and products. If your organisation has a signed agreement with us, that agreement comes first.

Maintained by Ivy Technology Ltd. Last reviewed August 2026.

These terms

These terms apply to your use of the Ivy Technology website and to trial or preview access to Ivy Care Connect and Ivy RM. Paid subscriptions and public-sector contracts are governed by a separate signed agreement, which takes precedence where the two differ.

Accounts

Accounts are personal to the named user. Do not share credentials. Tell us promptly if you believe an account has been compromised or a user has left your organisation.

You are responsible for the accuracy of information you or your team enter into the platform.

Acceptable use

Use the platform only for legitimate care coordination, commissioning and management purposes.

Do not attempt to access records belonging to other organisations, probe or disrupt the service, scrape data, or upload malware or unlawful content.

Do not upload service-user information you are not lawfully permitted to share with us.

Professional judgement

Ivy Care Connect helps identify and compare available care; Ivy RM helps organise compliance and operational records. Neither replaces clinical, safeguarding or statutory decision-making.

Financial threshold indications are guidance based on the figures entered and current national capital limits. The formal financial assessment and funding decision remain with the local authority.

Availability and previews

We aim for a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability outside an agreed service-level commitment. Prototype dashboards and preview features are illustrative and may change.

Fees

Published prices are indicative and exclude VAT unless stated. The fees, term and notice period for your organisation are those set out in your order form or contract.

Intellectual property

We own the platform, its software and branding. You keep ownership of the data your organisation puts into it and grant us the limited licence needed to provide the service.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Otherwise, and to the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability is limited as set out in your signed agreement.

Ending access

You can stop using the service at any time. We may suspend access where use breaches these terms or presents a security risk, and will tell you why.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales, and the courts of England & Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
